Manesty Park
Taken on a January day when the weather changed every ten minutes. For a while the sun provided strong back-lighting to this pre-historic landscape which occupies the flood plain at the southern end of Derwent. The landscape shown here was taken in 2004 but changed forever by the flooding later that year when the water level rose by four meters and strong winds damaged this lonely tree.
Camera: Hasselblad 500cm, 160mm lens, 81B and ND0.6 graduated filters.
Film: Fuji Velvia
